Bouw m.s. Empire gestart

Bij de Peene Werft te Wolgast in Duitsland is in oktober 2008 met de bouw van het 1400 TEU schip, het m.s. Empire gestart. Men is begonnen met het snijden van het staal en de bouw van de secties. De bouw verloopt volgens schema. In week 50 gaat het schip te water en zal aan de kade van de werf de verdere afbouw van het schip plaatsvinden. In maart 2009 zal het schip opgeleverd worden aan JR Shipping. Onder de pagina Vloot/ Overzicht/ m.s. Empire/ Fotogalerie kunt u de bouw van het m.s. Empire door middel van foto's volgen.
